The new Ford Taurus 2010 has been completely reshaped to give it a pretty good shot on. This car is improved interior and exterior, with a crisp new look, a fresh cabin Copper Mustang, bold and turbocharged power. Ford Taurus attempt to put back on track after a mismanagement of its most important names. The disintegration of the original design Ford Taurus carried off millions of new purchasers within the eighties and was America’s best-selling car in either the 1990s. But its popularity waned under face-lifts ugly, excessive, and a remake of 2005 as the large, dry Ford five hundred, the recovery started in 2008 when that car called the Ford Taurus model reaches a crest in the renovated 2010. Should you wait for 2010 or purchase the 2009 Ford Taurus? Despite the dramatic restyled, the 2010 model still keeps the 2009 Taurus’s basic engineering and interior dimensions.

The New Ford Taurus 2010 comes standard with Ford’s proven Duratec 3.five-liter V-6, generating 263 hp and 249 foot-pounds of torque. This award-winning engine earns a ULEV-II emissions certification and comes paired with a selection of two new six-speed automatic transmissions.The smooth and refined Duratec V-6 helps the front-wheel-drive Ford Taurus deliver unrivaled highway fuel economy. Taurus reflects Ford’s commitment to give the best, or be among the leaders, in fuel economy across the car segments where it competes.

The new Taurus is front-wheel drive, with an all-wheel-drive option. A six-speed automatic is the sole gearbox offered; SEL and Limited versions have paddle shifters and a manual shift mode. Compared to the outgoing model, the chassis components under the 2010 Taurus should deliver sportier ride dynamics. Ford engineers promise more roll stiffness and more responsive steering. Like the MKS, the new Ford applies struts up front and multi-link, absolutely-independent arrangement in the rear.

The 2010 Ford Taurus SHO will be prepared with the the majority of powerful “EcoBoost” V-6 Ford. The 3.5-liter V-6 uses twin turbochargers to produce 365 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque—almost as much as a V-8 Hyundai Genesis. Direct injection and staged turbocharging give it flexible power from 1500 to 5500 rpm, Ford says. All-wheel drive and the paddle-shifted six-speed automatic are the only drive-train available. Electric power steering is standard; it remains to be seen whether Ford’s tuning will provide the Taurus SHO great road feel. The SHO suspension is tuned for handling, with stiffer shocks and springs, thicker anti-roll bars and new suspension mounts. Ford will even offer a Performance Package with harder brake-pad material and re-tuned stability management, together with 20-inch wheels and tires.

Although this new Ford car is a full-size car, the quantity of passenger’s room remains surprising. The adjective “huge” comes to mind. In front the Taurus has nice space for tall drivers, and great space in back for 6-foot passengers and their knees. This can be a large sedan that looks even larger once you open the rear doors, a rarity within the class. The largest progress within the new Ford Taurus 2010 is in the standard feel of the interior. The previous version sported much of the inside room and offered high chairs with good visibility, but had plastics that catered to rental-fleet aesthetics. The surfaces are tighter grained and more and more attractive during this new model, and impressively finished.
